Terms of Service
These terms set out the deal between you and Pregacoach: what we do, what we don’t, and the rights and responsibilities on both sides. We’ve kept them as clear as a legal document can be.

1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Pregacoach Technologies Private Limited (“Pregacoach”, “we”, “us”). They govern your use of the Pregacoach website, web application and any official mobile application (the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Key definitions
- Patient / User — an individual who uses the Platform to access maternity care, tools or financing.
- Practitioner — a doctor or allied health professional registered with the NMC or a State Medical Council.
- Hospital — a clinical establishment partnered with Pregacoach for delivery or referral.
- NBFC Partner — a Non-Banking Financial Company registered with the Reserve Bank of India (“RBI”) that may offer you financing.
- Content — text, articles, videos, webinars and tools made available on the Platform.
3. What Pregacoach is — and is not
Pregacoach is a technology platform that connects expecting families with verified Practitioners, partner Hospitals and RBI-regulated NBFC Partners.
Pregacoach does not provide medical advice or treatment, does not employ Practitioners, does not run a hospital, and does not lend money. Clinical decisions are made solely by your Practitioner; loan decisions are made solely by the NBFC. We act as a neutral intermediary and, for content you submit, an “intermediary” under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
4. Eligibility and accounts
You must be 18 years or older to create an account. You may add profiles for minors (including newborns) under your lawful guardianship, and you are responsible for those profiles. Practitioners must hold valid NMC/State Medical Council registration; Hospitals must hold valid clinical-establishment registration; NBFC Partners must hold valid RBI registration. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or qualifications;
- access, scrape or interfere with data or accounts you are not authorised to use;
- upload malware, attempt to breach security, or disrupt the Platform;
- post content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or that the IT Rules, 2021 prohibit;
- use the Platform to defraud, harass or harm others, or for any unlawful purpose.
We may remove offending content and suspend accounts that breach this clause.
6. Tele-consultation conduct
Tele-consultations follow the National Medical Commission’s Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. The Practitioner verifies identity, obtains consent and exercises independent clinical judgment. Prescriptions are issued by the Practitioner, who is solely responsible for the clinical decision. Certain conditions require an in-person examination; the Platform is not for emergencies. In a medical emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital. See our Medical Disclaimer.
7. Financing flows
For EMI/financing, Pregacoach is a Lending Service Provider under the RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, 2022. We connect you with RBI-registered NBFC Partners; we do not lend, underwrite, run credit checks, disburse funds or collect repayments. The loan agreement, Key Fact Statement (KFS), interest, charges and grievance process are entirely between you and the NBFC you choose. Full details are in our Lending Partners disclosure.
8. Fees, payments and refunds
Consult fees are set by the Practitioner; Hospital packages are priced by the Hospital. Any Pregacoach platform fee is disclosed to you before you pay. The price you see at checkout, inclusive of applicable taxes, is the price you pay. Refund eligibility is published per service type and shown before payment; a Practitioner cancellation always yields a full refund. Payments are processed through a PCI-DSS-compliant gateway.
9. Content and intellectual property
The Platform, its software, brand and Content are owned by Pregacoach or its licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of data and documents you upload, and grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service for you. Educational Content is for general information only and is not medical advice.
10. Practitioners, hospitals and third parties
Practitioners, Hospitals and NBFC Partners are independent third parties, not agents or employees of Pregacoach. We verify registrations at onboarding but are not responsible for their clinical care, services, decisions or conduct. Your relationship for care or for a loan is directly with them.
11. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or any specific clinical or financial outcome.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pregacoach’s total liability for any claim arising out of the Platform is limited to the amounts you paid to Pregacoach in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
13. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate access, with notice where reasonable, if you breach these Terms or applicable law, or to protect users or the Platform. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination (fees due, IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) will survive.
14. Grievances and dispute resolution
We resolve platform-level complaints through our grievance process (below) under the IT Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Complaints about clinical care or hospital services should also be raised with the Practitioner or Hospital concerned. Loan-related grievances follow the NBFC’s grievance officer and, if unresolved, the RBI Ombudsman. Disputes are governed by Indian law, and the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Platform or the law evolves. We will notify you of material changes through the Platform or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Grievance Officer
In line with the Information Technology Rules, 2021, you can reach our Grievance Officer for any complaint about content or the Platform. We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days.
